This year’s top spring colours for interiors.

With spring approaching fast, the warmer climate may start you thinking about changing interiors and redecorating. This season there is a move toward the cooler and softer side of the colour spectrum. An eclectic, ethereal mix of understated brights, pale pastels and neutrals are popular this year.

One colour we are in love with is Marsala, pantone colour of the year for 2015 with its rich, earthy and warm tone.  It can work in any room and looks great.

Aquamarine, Scuba Blue and Lucite green are nice cool tones that will add a touch of spring freshness to your bathroom or utility room but we particularly love it on living room walls.  For a bright and vibrant but homely kitchen we love Toasted Almond, Tangerine and Marsala.

If you have little one’s Custard, Strawberry Ice and Scuba Blue are soft but still bright and cheery for revamping the kid’s rooms. Custard also works well in the living room.

For those not very adventurous when it comes to colour in the home, if you like to play it safe then glacier gray or toasted almonds are safe options and will work well in any room. You can always accessorise your rooms with other shades for a pop of colour.
